About
The DB5 was a sports car introduced by Aston Martin in 1963. Designed by Italy’s Carrozzeria Touring, it featured superleggera construction that helped reduce overall weight. The standard model’s engine produced 282 horsepower (281.1 HP), while the Vantage variant delivered 314 horsepower (313.6 HP). It was praised as one of the standout sports cars of the early 1960s. It also gained iconic status as one of the original “Bond cars,” famously appearing in the James Bond 007 film series.
