About
The Porsche 962 C was a prototype race car that made its debut in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 1985. Over the course of its career, the car delivered Porsche numerous race victories and championship titles. In its debut WEC season, it won seven out of ten races. The following year, in 1986, it claimed four wins from nine rounds in the newly renamed World Sports Prototype Championship (WSPC). At the 1987 WSPC, it secured a win at Le Mans and followed it up with a 2nd-place finish the year after.
