The production model of the seventh-generation Fairlady Z first appeared in prototype form in 2020. Eschewing electrification, Nissan opted for the VR30DDTT twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6, paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 9-speed automatic with manual shift mode.
