About

The V40 was a 5-door hatchback positioned in the C-segment. Drawing inspiration from Volvo classics of the 1960s—such as the P1800 and 1800ES—its flowing silhouette blended cues of both a coupe and a wagon. The T5 R-Design was the sportiest model in the lineup. Powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-5 producing 210.1 HP, it was paired with a sport suspension and 18-inch wheels to deliver sharp, refined handling.
