About
The TS030 Hybrid was developed to compete in the 2012 World Endurance Championship. Its THS-R powertrain was the result of a collaborative effort between Toyota’s production hybrid engineers and the motorsports division at the Higashi-Fuji Technical Center, built around a newly designed V-8 engine. Although it was forced to retire during its debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the car went on to claim three victories over the season, ultimately securing 2nd place in the championship standings.
