About

The FC3S, second generation of the RX-7, made its debut in October 1985. Sporting a sleek, futuristic design, it was shorter than its predecessor but both taller and wider. This new generation also carried an additional 441 lbs of weight. To offset the added weight, the FC3S was fitted with the newly developed 13B rotary engine. Each chamber was enlarged to 654 cc, and with the addition of a turbocharger, the engine delivered a peak output of 182.4 HP and 180.8 ft-lb of torque.
