About

The X2019 Competition was developed at the inception of the Gran Turismo Championship, with the goal of creating a race car that was as thrilling to watch as it was to drive. Based on the X2014 Standard, it featured revised design elements, including new front wheel styling, a reworked rear body structure, and reshaped rear wheel covers. Also, the powertrain was updated from a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine to a naturally-aspirated 3.0-liter unit, and the throttle system was replaced with a more conventional mechanical setup.
