About

Beginning in 2015, Lexus initiated test competition with a purpose-built race car based on the RC F, using the data and experience gained to refine and evolve the machine. This development culminated in the debut of the RC F GT3 in 2017. Emil Frey Racing, who played a key role in the car's development, campaigned the RC F GT3 in the International GT Open. Its efforts were rewarded with a 3rd-place finish in the team standings.
