About
The NSX CONCEPT-GT was a purpose-built racing machine developed by Honda, based on the 2012 next-generation NSX concept, to compete in the GT500 class of the Super GT series. At its debut, the car featured a hybrid powertrain, however, by the 2016 season, the hybrid system was removed due to supply challenges from the battery manufacturer. It concluded the season with a 12th-place finish overall.
