The Nismp R34 GT-R Z-tune stood as the ultimate expression of Nissan’s tuning prowess — a fully re-engineered, limited-production masterpiece based on the R34 Skyline GT-R. Under the hood, the standard RB26DETT engine was replaced with a 2.8-liter version of the RB26DETT Kai-Z2, derived from Nissan’s GT500 race program. Nismo reinforced the chassis with additional spot welds and strategically integrated carbon fiber components, while fine-tuning the suspension and braking systems to deliver razor-sharp performance. The result was a road-going GT-R with motorsport DNA baked into every detail. Including the original prototype, only 19 units were ever built, making the Z-tune one of the rarest and most revered GT-Rs ever created.
