About
This 3-door hatchback was released in the B-segment as a replacement for Alfa Romeo’s previous entry-level model, the 147. Its name was inspired by Milan and Torino—two cities central to Alfa Romeo’s history. The standard powerplant was a turbocharged 1.4-liter DOHC, with the 1.4 Sport variant producing 152.9 HP and 166.4 ft-lb of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. With a top speed of 133.6 mph and a zero-62.1 mph time of 8.0 seconds, it delivered more than respectable performance for its class.
