About

Based on the third-generation Mégane 3-door coupe, the Mégane R.S. was factory-tuned by Renault Sport for high performance. With bespoke ground effects and a newly developed chassis, it delivered exceptional cornering capability—earning its reputation as one of the fastest front-wheel-drive cars of its time. In 2011, the Mégane R.S. Trophy was introduced. With just 500 units produced worldwide, it made headlines by setting a new Nürburgring lap record for mass-produced front-wheel-drive cars, clocking in at 8 minutes and 7.97 seconds.
