This car succeeded the Z4 GT3, which had been BMW’s flagship GT3 racer since 2010. In stark contrast to the compact Z4, it featured a commanding presence, measuring nearly 16.4 ft long and more than 6.6 ft wide. Under the hood, a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 delivered 576.9 HP in its stock configuration. Built primarily from carbon fiber, the car also featured a completely redesigned frame and suspension, setting it far apart from the production M6.
