About
The third-generation Lancer Evolution was introduced in January 1995. With a focus on improving racing performance, it received aerodynamic and cooling enhancements, including a wider front bumper intake and a prominent rear wing mounted on the trunk. The legendary 4G63 engine was further refined to produce 266.3 HP, delivering sharper response and increased power. In the 1996 World Rally Championship, Tommi Mäkinen drove this very model to victory, securing the drivers' title.
