About
This electric vehicle was unveiled by BMW in 2013. Its distinctive, boxy 4-door body featured small, pillarless rear doors, and weighed just 2634 lbs, thanks to an aluminum alloy chassis paired with a carbon-fiber cabin. The electric motor produced 167.7 HP and 180.8 ft-lb of torque, enabling the car to accelerate from zero to 37.3 mph in 3.7 seconds, and to 62.1 mph in 7.2 seconds. With a top speed exceeding 93.2 mph, it proved it can compete with its internal combustion-powered counterparts.
