This performance model was introduced two years after the original launch of the IONIQ 5. It featured a 4-wheel-drive system powered by electric motors on the front and rear axles, allowing for freely adjustable torque distribution. When set to a rear-wheel bias, the system enabled the over two-ton SUV to be drifted with ease. In an effort to preserve the excitement of traditional combustion-engine cars, this unique electric SUV also offered a simulated 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and synthetic exhaust sounds.
