Introduced as the high-performance model of the seventh-generation ELANTRA, the ELANTRA N was developed to embody the N brand philosophy of “making cornering fun.” Powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing 276.1 HP and 289.3 ft-lb of torque, it accelerated from 0-62.1 mph in just 5.3 seconds, despite its front-wheel-drive layout. It was offered with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed DCT. Its running gear featured electronically controlled dampers and an eLSD, complemented by a robust braking system.
