After a surprise return to competition, the Nissan GT-R made its debut in the 2008 Super GT Championship. In preparation for upcoming regulation changes, the car received a pipe frame chassis and equipped with the same 4.5-liter V-8 previously used in the Z. The XANAVI NISMO demonstrated remarkable pace from the opening round and ultimately secured the drivers’ championship title.
