About

Developed by Toyota for the WRC, the GR Yaris may have appeared as a simple compact car, but underneath was a serious competition machine. With increased rigidity, reduced weight, and a dramatically lowered center of gravity, it was engineered for peak performance. The 4-wheel-drive RZ model featured a 1.6-liter 3-cylinder turbo engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The RZ High Performance variant added a limited-slip differential, delivering rock-solid traction. In January 2020, the "1st Edition" was introduced as a special edition model, marking the launch with exclusive features.
