About
In 2012, the Toyota Crown underwent a full model change, entering its 14th generation with a bold new front-end design. The lineup was split into two distinct versions: the more conservative "Royal" and the sportier "Athlete." Four different powertrains were offered across the series: a 3.5-liter V-6, a 2.5-liter V-6, a 2.5-liter inline-4 hybrid, and a 2.0-liter inline-4 turbo.
