About
The sixth-generation Honda Civic Type R was unveiled in September 2022. It was based on the FL 5-door hatchback variant of the 11th-generation Civic. Powering the car was a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 K20C engine, delivering 325.4 HP and 309.6 ft-lb of torque, surpassing the previous generation in both output and response. Updates to the 4-wheel independent active damper system further enhanced chassis performance, sharpening the car’s dynamic capability on both road and track.
