About
The Cappuccino was Suzuki’s entry into the kei-class sports car segment, launched in November 1991. Alongside the Honda Beat and Mazda’s Autozam AZ-1, it helped define the two-seater kei sports car boom of the era. It featured a long-nose, two-seat convertible body paired with a front-mounted engine producing 63.1 HP—the maximum output allowed under kei-car regulations. With a near-perfect 51:49 front-to-rear weight distribution, the Cappuccino left no doubt that it was a true rear-wheel-drive sports car.
