About
The sixth-generation Camaro made its debut in 2015. While the exterior continued the retro-modern theme of its predecessor, the underlying structure featured an entirely new design. Built on the new Alpha platform, the car employed aluminum extensively, resulting in 28 percent more rigidity and a weight reduction of 198 lbs. The SS performance model came equipped with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine, and included 20-inch wheels and Brembo brakes as standard.
