About

The Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ sports cars were developed through a collaborative effort between Toyota and Subaru. "BRZ" stood for "Boxer engine, Rear-wheel drive, Zenith." The car was powered by a Subaru 2.0-liter boxer engine paired with Toyota’s D-4S direct injection system. Following its 2012 debut, the car received near-annual updates. The 2015 model notably improved both handling and ride comfort.
