About

The Z4 was a convertible sports car that made its debut in 2002 as the successor to the Z3. Its design was distinguished by clean fender lines and a signature Z-shaped press line just ahead of the door. Torsional rigidity was improved by nearly threefold compared to the Z3, while overall weight was reduced by 55 lbs. It also introduced several new technologies, becoming the first BMW to feature electric power steering.
