About

The original Aventador made its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, taking over from the Murciélago. Its chassis was thoroughly reengineered, now utilizing a carbon monocoque paired with aluminum subframes at both ends, replacing the steel tube frame of its predecessor. Thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber and aluminum, the SV achieved an impressively low dry weight of just 3472 lbs for a car in this class.
