About
The A112 Abarth, introduced in 1971, was widely regarded as one of the original hot hatches. Based on the Autobianchi A112, the car was tuned by Abarth. Continuously refined throughout its production run, the car's engine displacement was increased in 1975, raising output to 70 HP, and in 1979, a 5-speed transmission was added. Although production ended in 1985, the A112 Abarth maintained a loyal following among enthusiasts drawn to its lively character.
