This race-bred machine carried the spirit of the RSR. And it was developed through an entirely different process than the production 911 road car. Its 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated engine, the first in 911 history to be mid-mounted, delivered 502 HP. At the 2017 Nürburgring 24 Hours, the car delivered a standout performance, holding the top spot for much of the race.
