About

The 650S GT3 was developed as a full FIA-GT3 compliant race car, derived directly from the production McLaren 650S. While it retained the same twin-turbo 3.8-liter V-8, power output was reduced to 493.1 HP to comply with GT3 regulations, similar to the MP4-12C GT3. Additional upgrades included extensive endurance-focused refinements throughout the car. The 650S GT3 earned significant victories in 2015, winning at GT Asia and later claiming top honors at the 2016 Bathurst 12 Hour.
