About
Unveiled in 1971, the 3.0 CSL served as the homologation version of the BMW 3.0 CS, featuring a powerful 3.0-liter inline-6 engine. Engine displacement grew from 2985 cc to 3003 cc in 1972, and to 3155 cc in 1973 for the evolution models, which achieved remarkable success on the European touring car stage.
